The purpose of this Health and Safety Policy is to ensure that all members of The Póg Mo Thórin Club are aware of the health and safety expectations at all club activities and rented venues. The club is committed to providing a safe environment for its members and guests.
2. General Safety Guidelines
All members are expected to adhere to the following safety guidelines at all times:
- Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits at all club venues.
- Keep all walkways and exits clear of obstructions.
- In case of an emergency, follow the instructions provided by club committee members or venue staff.
- No smoking is allowed inside the club venue. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
3. First Aid and Emergency Response
The club will ensure that members are aware of the basic first aid procedures and emergency response protocols:
- A first aid kit will be available at all club events. Members should familiarize themselves with its location.
- If an injury occurs, please seek assistance from a committee member or designated first aider.
- In case of a medical emergency, dial 999 immediately and inform venue staff.
4. Responsible Behavior
All members are expected to behave responsibly to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone:

- Alcohol consumption must be kept within reasonable limits to avoid compromising safety. Members who appear to be intoxicated may be asked to leave the venue.
